Abstract

|
A 62 year-old female who complained of abdominal pain was admitted. She was misdiagnosed as having a dilated bowel loop with gas collection by US. Diagnosis of emphysematous liver abscess was made by computed tomography and finally confirmed by surgical exploration. We report a case of emphysematous liver abscess diagnosed by CT with review of literatures.
